This interactive walking tour tells the tragic tale of Lucinda Sly, who was hanged for murdering her husband in 1835, along with her alleged accomplice John Dempsey.

Commencing from beneath the trap door from which she was hanged in Carlow County Museum, the tour will include visits to the old Carlow Gaol, The Governors House, Deighton Hall and Shamrock Square and will be led by local historian John McDarby.
