A killer whale has been spotted off the coast of west Kerry for the first time since 2013.
The orca, known as W01 ‘John Coe’ was spotted on Monday afternoon in the waters off the Slea Head Peninsula. He is apparently recognised by the large notch on the base of his dorsal fin.
