Guinness drinkers are fussy at the best of times but, while one man's stout is another man's porter, you don't need to be a connoisseur to recognise a badly poured pint.

A cafe in Canada made the basic error of including a very badly pulled pint in their promotional campaign for their St. Patrick's Day event.

While the use of "St. Patty's" in the event promo by the Railtown Cafe in Vancouver was bad enough, the Guinness head dribbling down the side of the glass was unforgivable to some.

However, they were quick to correct their error and are now offering any Irish passport holder a free pint and shot of Jamesons tomorrow.

Well played!
