It can be hard to find the time most mornings to prepare a hot breakfast before leaving the house unless you count toast as a hot meal.

There are a few popular ways to prepare your eggs too; scrambled, fried, poached or boiled.

Now there is a new method.

It's the latest craze sweeping the internet but do you know what cloud eggs are and it is worth trying to make them?

Cloud eggs are featuring more and more on users Instagram posts and youtube videos because they look good and are also low in calories but it is going to take you a little longer to prepare your breakfast, making them a Sunday morning treat.

The white of the egg is raised and fluffy while the yolk can still be soft and runny

Although the little sheep egg breakfast takes a little bit more time to prepare, young kids will especially love the result.

First, separate the egg white and whisk, as you would if making a meringue. You can season the egg white and also add cheese or ham if you want to be really fancy.

Place on a baking tray with a slightly lower centre in a hot oven for 5-7 minutes. Remove and place the yolk in the centre and return to the oven for a couple more minutes.

The result is a crispy white egg with a soft, velvety centre.

Serve with avocado, if you are taking a picture for your Instagram account, or with rashers and pudding if you are just going to eat it.
