The unsettled weather will continue for the rest of this week with a mixture of dry patches and showers.

As the week progresses conditions will become more humid with temperatures on Friday reaching into the high teens.

However, a build up of high pressure from the south will bring a period of warm and dry weather, just in time for Fathers Day.

Saturday will be dry and bright with highest temperatures reaching 24 degrees in areas away from the coast.

Sunday will be another warm and mainly dry day. There will be some cloudy periods, with local mist and fog on the south and west coasts. Highest temperatures inland will be in the low twenties.

The warm spell is expected to continue into next week, although with possible showers on Monday.
