Culture Night is now an all-Ireland event with some 350,000 people visiting museums, galleries, historic houses, artists’ studios and cultural centres across the country. The initiative has captured both the public imagination and the enthusiasm of artists and cultural organisations.
Hundreds of events are scheduled to take place across Dublin city on Friday for Culture Night and Dublin Bus was set to provide four free routes across different areas of Dublin city between 6pm and 11pm, on top of their usual schedule.
However, strike action on Thursday and Friday this week will also mean the cancellation of the the special routes making it much harder for visitors to move between events.
