A desperate search and rescue mission was launched after a group of 26 schoolchildren went missing on the Brecon Beacons in Wales.
Mountain teams searched the area for the group after they disappeared at around 1pm this afternoon.
At around 3pm, BBC reported that the group was spotted by helicopters but the rescue team was unable to find anywhere safe to land due to the poor weather conditions but that mountain rescue volunteers are making their way to the site on foot.
The BBC has since reported that "the helicopter has landed and the crew are with the children, but their condition is not known."
