The current warm spell is set to continue for a few days with temperatures hitting the mid-20s.
The whole country is set to enjoy some warm summers weather on Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday will be warm with hazy sunshine but with a risk of fog in coastal areas. Temperatures may reach the mid-20s in places.
Thursday will be another very warm and dry day across Ireland with some areas seeing long periods of unbroken sunshine. It will be hazy in places with a risk of fog around coastal counties.
Temperatures, hitting the mid-20's in places, will be warmer inland away from the light to moderate sea breeze.
Friday will be another warm day with lengthy spells of hazy sunshine. Most areas should stay dry but heavy showers will break out later in the day across the western half of the country.
Early indications suggest the weekend will be cooler with temperatures dropping back to the high teens. However, although it will be cloudier with outbreaks of rain, it will still feel warm and humid.
