This Irish ad for Ireland will be shown to millions in the US

Tourism Ireland hopes to build on the success of last year and encourage more Americans to choose Ireland as their holiday destination.

 

In 2016, 2.9 million visitors arrived from the US & Canada, an increase of 16% on the previous year.

These numbers helped Dublin Airport have a record year with 28 million people travelling through the airport in 2016.

Tourism Ireland aims to increase the numbers arriving from the US again this year, with help from a strong dollar and an increase in flights.

Their first campaign this year launches with a 30-second TV advert promoting Ireland as a destination for a summer holiday.
