Ireland is set for all the seasons this weekend as the changeable conditions bring a mixture of weather.

Met Eireann expects the conditions to vary greatly as the weekend progresses.

It will be wet over the west-Munster this evening, gradually spreading eastwards with temperatures of between -1 to +2 degrees with mist and fog patches overnight as the breeze dies down.

Saturday looks like the day to plan any outings as the weather is expected to be cool but bright with good sunshine, although there will be some scattered showers, mainly through Ulster and along Atlantic coastal counties.

It will rain in all areas during Sunday morning. However, drier, brighter weather, with sunny spells, will start in Munster later in the morning and reaching the rest of the country through the afternoon.

This changeable weather is set to continue into early next week.
