Thousands of jellyfish washed up on an Irish beach

The Irish Water Safety Authority warned last week that the spring tide caused by the new moon last weekend would expose large areas of the Irish coastline and result in an increase in jellyfish on Irish beaches. However, nobody was expecting this.

The Burren Shores - Beachcombing & more Facebook page posted these images of a mass Jellyfish stranding on Fanore Beach on Co.Clare.
