Did you enjoy the summer?

The whole country basked in the hot summer sun last week but unfortunately, it didn't stay for the weekend.

However, although the rain returned on Saturday the forecast for next week is not too bad.

Most days will be warm, highs in the late teens, with some isolated showers mainly in the morning or evening leaving nice summer afternoons.

Sunday will start dry and bright with but rain will spread northwards over the country during the evening until the following morning.

Monday will be mainly dry with just isolated showers and some sunny spells developing later in the day. Highest temperature may even reach 20 degrees.

There will be some showers on Tuesday morning, but once they clear it will be a dry day with sunny spells.

Wednesday will also start dry and bright but cloud and rain will move from the west to east later in the day.

The rain will clear on Thursday morning, leaving another sunny day with scattered showers.
