The Cork Chocolate Weekend will return to The Cork International Hotel on 23rd to the 25th November 2018. This event at the Cork International Hotel showcases chocolatiers, bakers, chocolate workshops, chocolate of all shapes and sizes. Its also a must see event for people who love baking – especially themed for Christmas baking. We are delighted that this year, we will have renowned British Chocolatier, Mr. Paul A. Young alongside Mr. Paul Kelly, Executive Pastry Chef from The Merrion Hotel and Judge on The Great Irish Bake Off. After a very successful opening year, there have been enhancements and changes to this years Cork Chocolate & Baking Weekend. The main exhibitor area will feature chocolatiers and bakers. Adjacent to that, we have a large marquee which will host cookery demonstrations and also host "The Great Cork Bake Off" on Sunday. We have a workshop zone and a tasting zone to tantalise your taste buds. There will be a children's zone on the first floor with workshops for the younger guest who are budding bakers. On Friday 23rd November 2018, the annual Cork Chocolate Dinner will take place at the Cork International Hotel. This dinner was a highlight of the Cork Chocolate & Baking Weekend in 2017 and was a sell out evening. We have guest chefs cooking individual courses where each course will be perfectly paired with a specially paired wine. With it being a chocolate dinner, each course will feature chocolate in a subtle way with seasonally used produce. On Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th November 2018, we will have the Cork Chocolate & Baking Weekend main exhibition/fair from 11am-5.30pm each day. On both days, tickets will be available to purchase in advance for either the 11am-2pm slot or alternatively, the 2.30pm-5.30pm slot. During these times, there will be a main chocolate/baking exhibitor selling area where guests can peruse the many stands and sample chocolate from the different suppliers.
