Cork Harbour Festival returns this summer with more than 100 events taking place across Cork City and County, celebrating one of the world’s largest natural harbours and the communities, culture and history that surround it.
Now in its eleventh year, the festival brings together over 60 event partners for a packed programme of maritime, cultural and outdoor experiences. Visitors can enjoy harbour cruises, guided walks, tall ship tours, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing demonstrations, seafood events, sea shanties, exhibitions and family-friendly activities throughout the week.
Highlights include the flagship Ocean to City race on Saturday, 30th May, one of Ireland’s largest rowing and paddling events. The programme also features tours of Spike Island, Camden Fort Meagher, Elizabeth Fort and the Titanic Experience Cobh, alongside harbour rib trips, maritime talks, seaweed workshops, water sports, cycling events and opportunities to get out on the water.
With activities taking place across Cork Harbour, Cork City, Cobh, Crosshaven, Blackrock, Passage West and surrounding communities, Cork Harbour Festival offers something for all ages, whether visitors are interested in history, adventure, food, culture or family days out by the sea.
