Draíocht’s Toddler Take Over returns this May for its 11th year, bringing a full morning of creative activities and sensory experiences for children aged 18 months to 4 years. Designed as a special event for the youngest audiences in Dublin 15, the programme combines music, storytelling, dance, play and visual arts across multiple themed spaces throughout the venue.
Families can move through a variety of interactive areas including painting and drawing spaces, building activities, light and shadow experiences and imaginative play zones. The event includes both artist-led and self-guided activities, allowing toddlers to explore at their own pace while encouraging creativity, curiosity and play.
A dedicated sensory-friendly session also takes place for local special units and pre-schools catering for children with sensory needs. With limited numbers and timed entry slots throughout the morning, the event is designed to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for younger children and their families.
