Barretstown Big Picnic
Kildare | 20th, July
Barretstown opens its gates for a fun-filled family day packed with canoeing, archery, face painting, dancing, giant games, mini golf and more. All activities are free with general admission, except for the Fossett’s Circus shows, which must be booked in advance.
Fossett’s will perform three shows on the day (11:15am, 1:15pm and 3:15pm), with family and individual tickets available. Gates open from 10:30am to 4:30pm.
Rose Festival
Dublin | July 19th & 20th
Celebrate 50 years of the Rose Garden as the Rose Festival returns to St Anne’s Park. This free, family-friendly weekend features live music, crafts, kids’ entertainment, food stalls and biodiversity zones, plus yoga, tai chi and a dedicated bike park. Gates open from 10am to 6pm daily.
Brick Feile

Ireland’s biggest LEGO® fan event returns to CityNorth Hotel this Saturday and Sunday with stunning custom models, giant brick pits, a live big-build and creative challenges for all ages.
Explore incredible displays from brick.ie, take part in fun builds, shop rare sets and help raise funds for Fairy Bricks, supporting children in Irish hospitals. A brilliant day out for LEGO® fans of all ages.
Loughcrew Fairy Festival

Step into a magical world at Loughcrew Gardens with fairy trails, unicorns, puppets, storytelling and circus fun. Enjoy crafts, bubbles, vintage games and enchanting performances from 12pm to 6pm daily. A spellbinding weekend for little believers with big imaginations.
Ballina Salmon Festival

The final weekend of the Ballina Salmon Festival is packed with fun for kids of all ages. On Friday, little ones can bop along at Baby Boppers or try paddle boarding at the Quay. Saturday brings fancy dress disco fun and rockets and slime workshops, while Sunday wraps up with a Teddy Bears Picnic in Tom Ruane Park. Expect music, games, animals and a sensory hour for quieter play.
