Killary Sheep Farm
About Killary Sheep Farm
Welcome to Killary Sheep Farm a traditional working mountain farm with approx 200 ewes and lambs roaming freely in the mountain overlooking Killary Fjord.
On our farm we run mainly blackhead horny sheep which are most suited to survive on the mountains during the harsh winters.
At Killary Sheep Farm visitors can view demonstrations of sheepdogs, sheep sheering and turf cutting. Tom welcomes visitors of all ages and for his sheep and dog demonstrations, as well as bog-cutting and walks.
Demonstrations are held at 11.am, 1pm and 3pm Tuesday to Sunday or by appointment. Open from 1st April to 30th Sept.
