Lough Boora Discovery Park is located in County Offaly and is open year-round. With access for all ages and abilities, this amenity can be explored for its outdoor activities, nature and biodiversity, sculptures and historical Mesolithic Site
An abundance of flora displays can be found in the park throughout the seasons and wildlife can be spotted amongst the grasslands, lakes and wetlands. Lough Boora consists of a magnificent collection of natural and manmade lakes. Explore 50km of trails, along 5 different routes, natural re-colonisation and pastureland which provide a new habitat for the park’s biodiversity.

This wonderful amenity is well signposted . car park is 4e.although for the day but there is also free car parking on the roadside too there is no admission fee.bring a picnic as there are plenty of areas to enjoy al fresco dining! Hire a bike or enjoy a coffee in the coffee shop located on the water enjoying views of one of the famous man made lakes on offer here.plenty of cycle paths, walkways, sculptures, fairy forts and willow winding paths with bog flowers and butterflies all around. A day out for all the family, enjoy all that's on offer in this beautiful part of Ireland.
