Dublin To Come Alive In Spectacular Style For New Year’s Festival Dublin
Ring in 2026 with New Year’s Festival Dublin, Ireland’s biggest New Year Celebration. Gather together in the heart of Dublin with your family and friends as the city comes alive with music. Developed by Fáilte Ireland in association with the Office of Public Works, the festival hosts 3 days of celebrations across the city as an exciting line up of musical acts is set to perform from 30th December 2025 through to 1st January 2026. Celebrate the arrival of 2026 in style as Dublin Castle hosts two incredible Countdown Concerts as part of New Year’s Festival Dublin.
The Countdown Concert Matinee offers a magical early evening celebration designed for families and friends of all ages. Featuring live performances from BIIRD, the all-female trad supergroup, alongside indie favourites Florence Road and DJ Shelly Gray, it’s the perfect way to welcome the New Year a little earlier.
As night falls, the main Countdown Concert kicks off with Inhaler headlining an unforgettable show following their chart-topping success with Open Wide. They’re joined once again by BIIRD, Florence Road and DJ Shelly Gray, creating a thrilling mix of rock, trad and electronic sounds in Dublin’s most iconic setting.
The New Year’s Festival continues across the city with free events, fireworks in Howth and Dún Laoghaire, and live music into New Year’s Day. From family fun to headline performances, NYF Dublin promises a citywide celebration of music, light and unforgettable moments.
