Skerries Mills Harvest Celebration

Skerries Mills will celebrate harvest time with a weekend of music, demonstrations and family activities across its heritage lands on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August.
Visitors can watch the barley harvest taking place in the Crop Field, weather permitting, with local farmers and farming machinery at work. There will also be craft demonstrations, stalls, displays and activities for all ages throughout the weekend.
Live music will take place on Saturday afternoon with a performance from The Ukeristics, while children can enjoy crafts and face painting, with a small cash charge for face painting. Skerries Mills Farmers Market will run as normal on Saturday, followed by a small craft market as part of the Harvest Celebration on Sunday.
Food will be available from vendors in the Crop Field, while Skerries Watermill Café and its outdoor dining terrace will also be open. The event takes place outdoors rather than inside the heritage building and admission to the Harvest Celebration is free.
Gates open at 11am on Saturday and 10.30am on Sunday, with the event finishing at approximately 5.45pm each day. Parking is limited and Skerries Mills is around a six-minute walk from Skerries train station.
