Clifden Arts Festival returns with a varied programme of music, theatre, visual arts and family entertainment across the town. Alongside performances and exhibitions, families can enjoy storytelling, creative workshops, crafts, live music and outdoor activities throughout the festival.
Family highlights include the Culture Night Fayre with circus performers, street entertainment, DJs and interactive experiences, along with Flash Box portrait sessions where children can have their picture painted in just a few minutes. Young performers also take centre stage in Tiny Mutiny, showcasing music, dance, film and comedy created by talented artists from across Galway.
The popular Elf & Fairy Trail invites families to dress up and follow a magical scavenger hunt through Clifden, while the second weekend features spectacular aerial performances, fire shows, circus acts and the Grande Parade, bringing colour and entertainment to the streets. Younger children can also enjoy sensory performances designed especially for toddlers and preschoolers.
