Rose of Tralee International Festival
The Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Ireland's largest and longest running festivals, celebrating 59 years in 2018.
The heart of the festival is the selection of the Rose of Tralee which brings young women of Irish descent from around the world to County Kerry, Ireland for a global celebration of Irish culture.
However, the festival is also a week long programme of activities and events that includes street entertainment, carnival, live concerts, theatre, circus, markets, funfair, fireworks and Rose Parades.
Family Town will host various workshops, activities and performances during the week. There will be two spectacular firework displays; one on Saturday after the Parade and another on Tuesday night after the crowing of the Rose. Bird's Euroshow and Fosset's Circus will be back in Tralee entertaining families throughout the week.
