Saturday Art Club | Wexford Arts Centre

Wexford Arts Centre invites young creatives to join two special weekend workshops this February as part of their much-loved children’s art programme. Led by artists Jeni and Bríd, these playful sessions encourage children to explore painting, sculpture, drawing and more while taking inspiration from exhibitions and the world around them.
For children aged 4–7, Little Artist Club runs from 10am to 11.15am and continues a journey through the earliest forms of art, from ancient patterns to the lives of the first farmers. Children are introduced to shapes and symbols like triskeles and spirals in a fun, imaginative way. New participants are welcome, and parents are asked to remain on-site for the first session.
Following this, the Saturday Art Club (ages 8–12) runs from 11.30am to 12.45pm, offering older children a chance to explore colour, texture and seasonal themes through hands-on projects. Both workshops support children of all abilities and are tailored to individual needs where required. Pre-booking is essential.
