Come to Belfast for a super St Patrick's Day which is sure to get your hands clapping and feet tapping. The city will mark St Patrick’s Day with a colourful carnival parade and a free concert on Friday 17 March. The streets will be awash with colour from 12 noon as the parade leaves Belfast City Hall snaking its way through the heart of the city to Custom House Square where the annual concert will start at 12.45pm sharp. Community groups from across Belfast’s cultural spectrum will take part in this year’s Belfast themed parade, alongside professional and amateur performers, costumed characters, musicians and dancers. Free concert: 12.45pm - 3pm This year’s concert line-up will include fantastic artists: Headline act, X Factor runner-up, Fleur East, supporting acts will include Reggie ‘n’ Bollie and Stooshe there’ll be drumming talent from the local Belfast Boys’ Model traditional tunes from band The Rare Aul Stuff. Entry to the concert will be on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets are not required. Gates will open at 12.15pm. Terms and conditions of entry will apply. Alcohol is not sold and will not be permitted to be brought onto the concert site.
