Clonakilty Park Adventure Centre

Be prepared to swing, climb, jump, scream, laugh, and drop around Cork’s newest thrill seeking attraction, one of only a dozen in the country. The Clonakilty Park Adventure Centre is located on the complex of the Quality Hotel & Leisure Club, Clonakilty in beautiful West Cork.

Whatever your skill level the course is designed to match it. The aerial trekking ropes course has two levels, each 65m long with 13 challenging elements such as cables, leaping on swinging logs and clambering along vertical cargo nets. The first level is 17ft off the ground and level two is for the more adventurous at 40ft off the ground with further demanding elements. Adrenalin junkies will love the power fan jump. Step off the 65ft platform at the top of the tower for a free fall that uses a power fan to control the descent but we can’t help to control the screams as you free fall! Push yourself to new heights on the climbing tower; with two challenging walls you’ll be sure to have an energising experience.  Our Zip line is 100m long and suitable for daredevils young and old.

The centre’s staff is fully trained and a safety talk and harness fitting is all carried out by them before venturing onto the course. But that is not all, they are also there to encourage participants along the way and help them to overcome any fears or doubts they may have giving them the confidence to challenge themselves and discover new abilities safely, all while they are having fun! That is what makes this facility the perfect activity no matter the capability or age.

The Clonakilty Park Adventure Centre has already played host to a number of birthday parties, hens & stags, corporate incentive days, school and sport groups and the feedback has been exceptional.
