I was not happy at all at how we were treated when attending a child's party at Tallaght Adventure World. For starters, the place was overcrowded. Too many adults and not enough room for any of us. If there are more than 3 children's parties on at the same time, the venue should limit the number of walk ins. It was evident that there was no limit in place. We ordered food and paid for it upon arrival, and we were left waiting 45 minutes for this food (it does not take 45 minutes to make 2 paninis and a plate of nachos). The children's party rooms are very small and adults are actually not allowed in. When the party room was ready, all of the adults were told to move from the play area to the party area, and then we were told that we could not wait outside the party area. A lot of the guests felt unwelcome because of this and left the party. I felt the staff could have spoken more professionally to customers, as I got the impression I was not even welcome to ask a question regarding the whereabouts of the party upon my arrival. The young lady I was dealing with was very blunt and unwelcoming (i.e. when I said "Excuse me", she replied "WHA?"). After the party was over, when all of the adults were packing up, one of the children ran back into the play area and the parents of that child were told that they were not allowed back into the play area after the party was over, so there was about 10 children running about the reception area while the parents of the birthday boy were trying their best to pack up. This was my first time going to Tallaght Adventure World, and I was nothing short of horrified. I was a guest at someone else's party, and I did not feel welcome or accommodated at all. I will not be recommending this venue to anyone in the future.
