Crag Cave is a natural limestone show cave, discovered in 1983 and thought to be over one million years old. We are located in Castleisland the gateway to County Kerry, just 2 kilometres from Killarney, 19 kilometres from Tralee and 8 kilometres from Kerry Airport. We are proud to be one of the county’s premier visitor attractions. The cave itself is a magical wonderland of stalagmites & stalactites. This natural all weather attraction has dramatic sound & lighting effects with all tours being fully guided and take approximately half an hour. Crag Cave will delight & enthral all ages and our friendly guides will be pleased to explain the origins of the cave describe its beautiful formations and introduce visitors to a world older than mankind. Recently we have added a unique Birds of Prey attraction hosted by Kingdom Falconry. This offers a unique opportunity to get up close & personal with a variety of majestic and awe-inspiring birds of prey – hawks, falcons and owls. Watch the Falcons fly and stoop to the lure with amazing dexterity and speed; watch hawks glide in at close range and be amazed at the grace and soundless motion of the owls and their individual personalities.
