Local to the hotel we encourage our families to visit some of the many great family attractions that County Kildare has to offer - the Irish National Stud & Japanese Gardens, Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park, Bargetrip.ie, Clonfert Pet Farm and lots, lots more.   We have put together a Local Attractions Guide for our families to be able to map out where they would like to visit during their stay with us.  

We are located just a 30 minute drive from Dublin City Centre.  There is easy access to Dublin Zoo, the Phoenix Park and other major Dublin City Centre attractions as well as the ever popular Emerald Park.  

Our Leisure Club has a Kids Pool for the smaller family members and there is a small green area directly across from the hotel and a playground just a short walk away so no excuse not to get some fresh air too during your family staycation.

Our standard Family rooms provide ample space for a family travelling with small children.   Each of our Family rooms has one double bed and one single bed and can accommodate either a camp bed or a cot.  The maximum number of occupants in a standard family room is 4 - either 2 adults and 2 children, 2 adults with 1 child & 1 infant, 1 adult and 3 children or 1 adult with 2 children & 1 infant.  Camp beds and cots are available upon request free of charge.

If your family is 2 adults and 3 children (of any age) or more then our Family Apartments are the perfect option for you, providing comfortable and spacious “homes away from home”.   Designed particularly for families, our apartments are hugely popular and in great demand especially during the school holidays.   Our apartments are a great option for families as they can accommodate camp beds and/or cots as well as the existing bedding options and still leave plenty of space to enjoy your staycation and, more importantly, with a TV in both the living room and the bedroom, some me-time for both adults and children alike!   All our apartments are located in the hotel itself, along the main bedroom corridors so very convenient for accessing all of our facilities.   Each apartment comprises of a small entrance hallway, one en-suite bedroom, a living room and a kitchenette.   The bedrooms are spacious, some with king-size bed and others with a double and a single bed. The living room provides comfortable chairs and sofa which folds out into a small double bed. This can be made up for you in advance on request. A small kitchen area is equipped with just enough conveniences- kettle, toaster, refrigerator, sink area, microwave, crockery, cutlery and glasses - to allow you to enjoy a basic self-catering option.
