In the heart of Limerick city, the new Belltable was officially relaunched on April 7, 2016.
Newly refurbished, the venue consists of a 220-seater venue, three rehearsal spaces, meeting and hotdesking facilities.
A hub of artistic activity, it presents a vibrant programme across artforms, as well as provides space for artists to explore, create and meet.
Belltable:Connect supports professional development of theatre artists.
Belltable was established in 1981 as the first regional arts centre in Ireland. It has been managed by the Lime Tree Theatre since January 2016. Owned by Limerick City & County Council, the venue is under the management of the Lime Tree Theatre via a Service Level Agreement with LC&CC.
The nonprofit activities and events part of this capacity building programme include hire of rehearsal spaces, hotdesking facilities, office and meeting room spaces, workshops and mentorship programmes, among others.
