Limerick City Gallery of Art is one of the leading contemporary art galleries in Ireland and home to an important collection.
Limerick City Gallery of Art (Gailearaí Ealaíne Chathair Luimnigh) invites you to see the best of contemporary art through the exhibition programme and to enjoy our extensive collection of Irish art. LCGA is the largest contemporary art gallery in the Mid-Western Region, annually exhibiting national and international artists in a diverse exhibition programme, while also exhibiting selections from the Permanent Collections. LCGA is housed in the historic Carnegie Building, in the People's Park in Limerick City Georgian Quarter.
LCGA is housed in the Carnegie Building, on the grounds of the People’s Park in the centre of Limerick City. Over the year a number of refurbishments and renovations have taken place, now includes Zest Café at the Gallery.
Limerick City Gallery of Art is fully accessible with a ramp at the front entrance, wide doorways, a lift and disabled toilet facilities
