The Follies The Jealous Wall is the largest and one of the most spectacular follies in Ireland. The word 'Folly' is commonly used to describe an ornamental building serving no useful purpose. The Walled Garden Wander around our beautiful walled garden and enter our Thomas Messenger style Victorian glasshouse filled with an array of exotic plants or delight in the many splendid woodland & lakeshore walks. Really great for a family day out, bring a picnic and comfortable shoes, lots of trails to walk around (short & long) lake side playgrounds and lots of old buildings to explore, the ice house is our favourite, and the cannons, walled garden is fab, recommend a full day here, they serve food and tea/coffee also
