Children’s Birthday Parties at Kippure Estate
Celebrate your kid’s birthday big time! If you’re looking for a party venue with spectacular surroundings, then nowhere comes close to Kippure Estate Adventure Centre.
Our big value birthday package is specifically designed for 6-12 year olds and includes the following:
- Climbing & abseiling adventure
- Nature scavenger hunt
- Classic kids party games (e.g. sack race, pass the parcel)
- Novelty prizes for the scavenger hunt
- A special kid’s party buffet *
- A goody bag for each child **
Duration: 3 – 3.5 hours (including the party buffet)
All outdoor activities and games are fully supervised by our qualified and experienced instructors.
Open Activity Days 2016 at Kippure Estate
From April to October, during weekends only, we offer
exhilarating outdoor activities specifically
for individuals, couples and smaller families.
ACTIVITY TIMES:
Saturday morning: 10.00 am to approximately 1.00 pm
Sunday afternoon: 2.00 pm to approximately 5.00 pm
Please arrive around 15 minutes earlier!

Enjoy a Real Adventure with a Half Day Activity Package – which includes High Ropes, Climbing Tower, Archery and Orienteering
(suitable for adults and kids aged 6 plus).
The cost of the adventure activity day includes all specialist instruction, equipment and waterproof clothing.
Paintball Adventures at Kippure
Action thrills and spills with stimulating paintball challenges in the Wicklow Mountains
If you love the great outdoors, but want to take it to the next level, get your pulse racing with a few hours of paintballing at Kippure Adventure Centre. We’ve got a series of high octane game zones carefully crafted to give you the ultimate in suspense and excitement while you race around our stunning grounds, dodging bullets and firing off shots.
How it works
Our paintball challenges are designed to give you non-stop fun right until the final shot. We’ll divide you into two teams and set you tasks across our exciting range of playing areas. Whether your goal is to capture the flag or rescue hostages, you’ll need to work together to win the day. You’ll need strategy as well as a little luck as you try to take out the opposing team and survive to complete your mission. Men, women and children aged 14 and over will have a blast as you work together to win!
Extensive paintball area featuring woodland and fields – set within Kippure Estate’s 240 acre grounds, designed to offer you maximum enjoyment.
A wide range of challenges – can you take your team to victory?
Teamwork is key – we strongly recommend some pre-game strategizing!
Safety first – we provide camouflaged suits to help you blend into the background as well as professional-quality, anti-fog safety masks.

Kippure Adventure Centre, which is located within the grounds of Kippure Estate in the Wicklow Mountains, offers a host of outdoor pursuits, all aimed at combining the best of our beautiful countryside with exhilarating activities, including archery, sky trekking, climbing, zip line and many, many more! You’ll be spoilt for choice with our activity packages, but whatever option you choose, you know you’re in for an unforgettable time.
Accommodation
Whether you’ve been traversing high ropes, embarking on a chocolate treasure hunt or perfecting your archery skills, having a comfortable bed for the night is essential.
Staying in one of our comfortable lodges means you can focus on having an unforgettable event, safe in the knowledge that your bed is only a stone’s throw away.
Kippure Estate has a prime location, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Wicklow Mountains. When you stay with us, you can enjoy an evening in our cosy resident’s bar; where you’ll normally find the room alive with groups of guests merrily conversing over the backdrop of good music. Alternatively, you might stumble upon one of our fun karaoke evenings; in which case, do join in! A group residential at Kippure Estate promises to be an experience you’ll never forget.
We’ve got room for 150 people, and have private dining facilities on offer for our guests. Regardless of the size of your group, we’ll do everything we can to help you.
Lodges
Groups of between 2 and 8 people can stay in our spacious private lodges. Even with 7 or 8 guests, you can rest assured that you’ll spend the night in comfort. We have several fully-furnished lodges, many of which overlook the Wicklow Mountains National Park in all its splendour. Everything is fully catered, so you can enjoy great food without the hassle. Our affordable and convenient lodges help you feel right at home.
Guest Rooms and Bunk Bed Accommodation
If you’re just looking for a warm bed after a big event, we have a collection of modern, cosy twin bedrooms in the estate’s main building. Each twin room has an en-suite or private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, and is fully serviced by our staff. For budget-friendly stays we also offer bunk bed accommodation. Our rooms are spotlessly clean, pleasant and fully catered, so you can enjoy the weekend of your life without leaving a dent in your bank balance.
