Vintage Funfair
Kildare | May 8th – 10th
Ireland’s Vintage Funfair arrives in Kildare town for three days, setting up at Greyabbey on the Nurney Road. Running from Friday to Sunday, the event features a selection of classic rides including Dumbo the Flying Elephant, a swinging pirate ship, the Terminator ride and a range of traditional carousels. Opening hours are 2pm to 7pm on Friday and 12pm to 7pm across the weekend.
Families can also visit the Treat Tram for sweets and snacks throughout the day, with candy floss and other favourites available on site. The funfair operates on a token system for rides, with tokens available in advance online or from the ticket office during the event.
