Belfast City Blues Festival

The streets of Belfast will be alive with rhythm and soul this June as the city hosts another weekend of top-class blues, buzzing bars and free live gigs. The Belfast Blues Festival is a firm favourite on the summer calendar, bringing together homegrown talent and international acts for three days of unforgettable music across some of the city’s best-loved venues. Whether you’re a long-time blues fan or just looking for something different to enjoy with the family, there’s something for everyone with plenty of free performances, great food and a fantastic festival atmosphere throughout the city. Kicking off on Friday 27th June, the festival gets into gear with free afternoon sets from SpeedKings at The Dirty Onion, Rev Doc & the Flying Squad at Kellys Cellars and the Chris Taplin Blues Band at Granny Annies. Families can dip into daytime gigs at spots like St George’s Market or catch outdoor sets at venues like Common Market and Whites Tavern.
