The Playcentre Kingscourt is a brand new purpose built indoor play and party centre located on the Kells road in the atmospheric town of Kingscourt in Co. Cavan.
As a young family with 3 young children, we understand the importance of offering an affordable and enjoyable visit.
We will always remain aware of maintaining high standards here at The Playcentre. With 4 levels of play equipment, children are guaranteed a stimulating and sociable experience during their visit here.
While your kids are playing the adults can relax in our modern seating area which overlooks the play areas and serves a selection of Specialities, Italian coffees, Herbal teas and Fresh pastries as well as an extensive Hot food menu.
Playground Area
The main playground area features 5 levels of fun with a spiral slide, swings, punchbags and lots more
Height restriction of 4’7″ applies
Baby Area
The Baby Area is designed for children under 12 months of age and is free of charge. It includes: Flashing sensory waterbed will encourage your babies to participate in tummy time, which is an important part of their development. There is also a separate ball pool area.
Toddler Area
The Toddler Area caters for children between 1 and 3 years of age. Some of its features includes:
- A moving carousel
- A flashing slide
- 3 separate areas with their own slides
- spiral slide and numerous ride on's & little tyke cars
Football Stadium
Separate to the main area is our football arena. It's a big hit with the football fanatics and older kids.

Birthday Parties
No stress, No mess. All you need to bring on the day are the kids and a cake
Options include a football party, a disco party or a princess' party.
Parties in Kingscourt include the following:
- 2 hours in total
- 75 minutes in the play area
- 45 minutes in the party room of your choice.
- Juice for children on arrival and throughout and
- 2 complimentary tea or coffee for parents of the birthday child.
- Reserved table for up to 6 guests
- 4 adults admitted to party room (if more adults it can affect party process)
- Up in the party room there will be music, face painting, hot food of chips, cocktail sausages and chicken nuggets, every child will receive a party bag and a gift for the party child.
- You only need to bring your cake everything else is catered for.
Prices
€200 for up to 10 children and €18 per extra child
We also cater for all occasions such as playgroups, sports clubs communions & confirmations etc.

Situated on the Cavan/Meath border in the atmospheric town of Kingscourt, we are located conveniently to local attractions such as Dun Ni Ri forest park and the beautiful Cabra Castle.
The forest park boasts 565 acres across Dun Ni Ri Forest Park, which was acquired by the Irish Forest & Wildlife Service in 1959 and developed into public parkland and has attractions such as historic Cromwell's Bridge and the magnificent wishing well which has sweet water and, it is said, a good record on wishes fulfilled!
Cabra Castle is Idyllically set amidst sprawling green terrain and both locations offer the perfect setting for maybe a picnic or to just extend your day trip.
Age 3 years (group of 15 or more )
- A) €6.00 for one and a half hours play
- B) €8.00 for 2 hours (plus jugs of unlimited juice)
- C) €11.00 lunch package, consists of 2 hours in total, one and a half hours play time & 30 minutes for their lunch which includes a kids meal with chicken nuggets, sausages chips & drinks.
School tours for ages 4+ (groups of 35 or more )
- A) €7.00 for one and a half hours play
- B) €8.50 for 2 hours (plus jugs of unlimited juice)
- C) €11.50 lunch package is 2 hours in total and consists of one and a half hours play time, 30 minutes eating time for their lunch which includes chicken nuggets sausages chips & drinks.
Deposits of €50.00 to secure bookings preferably within 3 days from booking.

Hi guys that time of year again ? our Halloween party will be ran on Tuesday the 31st of October. We have two partys. 1st party starts at 1:00pm till 3:00pm the 2nd party runs 3:30 to 5:30pm ? a fancy dress , music, games , sweets , juice also a competition for best dressed with a vary of different prizes ? ticket only event .
